About Julia Page
Having been a humanist for the last twenty years I decided to train as a celebrant in 2018. I am trained and accredited by Humanists UK and have been able to utilise my skills as a creative writer and public speaker. I am passionate about my work and look forward to working with individuals, couples and families to create personal and unique ceremonies to mark the major events in their lives.
About Me
I graduated from Liverpool University with a BA(Hons) in English Language and Literature and then completed a Post Graduate Certificate of Education at the Institute of Education in London.
For 25 years I taught English in secondary schools and, more recently, an international college. While teaching, I also worked for the English Speaking Union to support and publicise their debating programme with tailored workshops for secondary schools in South Wales, all of which I created and delivered.
In addition, I have a counselling diploma, qualifications from Cruse Bereavement Support and I am also a volunteer listener for the Samaritans.
I live near Llantwit Major with my three sons, two dogs and two cats.
