About Linda Morgan

I have been helping people who live their lives without a religious faith to celebrate the important milestones in their lives – baby namings, weddings, vow renewals, and funerals – for 9 years now.   I am passionate about reflecting the life and character of people in humanist ceremonies, which are all about life in all it’s varieties.

Each ceremony is unique; I try to find out as much about the person as is possible by talking to family and friends.  Although there is a structure for each type of ceremony, they are both flexible and adaptable and I work with couples and families to arrive a ceremony that is exactly as they want it to be.  When the ceremony is complete, I prepare a presentation copy for the family to keep.

A bit about me;  I’ve lived in the Colchester area for over 40 years.  I am a wife, mother and grandmother,  I have a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Psychology and a working background in the Democratic Services area of local government.  Researching, writing and presenting unique ceremonies that reflect human individuality is one of the most satisfying and rewarding things I have ever been involved in.
