My name is Sally Brazier and I am a humanist funeral celebrant. Working in  the south Essex area. I offer a non religious funeral service celebrating a life lived.

I have worked in the NHS as an Occupational therapist for many years.  My speciality was mental health this experience broadened my understanding of emotional needs.

I have always felt that it is important, as a last act to honour the story of each individual at their funeral.I also feel that everyone attending should come away having learnt something new about that person.  I  gather the stories and reflections from family and friends at a family meeting then construct the ceremony and agree the  final script. My approach is to make the ceremony tailored to fit. This is through clear consultation with friends and family of the deceased person. I can help to suggest music, poems and prose to reflect the person.
