Since taking early retirement 10 years ago, Tom has conducted numerous funeral, memorial, and green woodland burial services for families in Chelmsford, Brentwood, Witham, Maldon and throughout Essex.
He believes that a funeral service should reflect the life, character and personality of the loved one who has died.
Over the years Tom has successfully developed a close working relationship with local Funeral Directors. He is able to coordinate closely with them, guiding you through a difficult time -ensuring that the funeral service is as you would want it.
Whilst a humanist funeral is non-religious it is not in any way hostile to religious beliefs. Tom suggests the inclusion of a short silence of remembrance and invites those who wish, to use the time for private prayer.
People often say afterwards how moving, sincere and fitting they found the ceremony.
