About Val Turner
As a Humanist I believe we only have one life and it is important to me to make it matter and live the best way I can. I try to live my life in a positive way and I believe that individual responsibility, social cooperation and mutual respect are good principles to live by.
I am retired but I still feel that I can make a contribution to society and being a celebrant is one way of doing this. My background in local government, industry and education has helped me develop the practical, emotional and organisational skills needed to conduct sensitive and meaningful ceremonies celebrating life’s significant events. I live in Shipley and am part of a team covering the West Yorkshire area. Between us we can ensure a Humanist Celebrant is available to conduct your ceremony.
