Memorials

During the pandemic, many families were deprived of the opportunity to say a meaningful goodbye to loved ones, either because it wasn’t possible to hold a funeral or because numbers attending were impacted. A memorial is a chance to put that right and gather in memory of the deceased to talk, laugh, and remember them as they were.

This type of ceremony can be as formal or informal as you like, and I would love to work with you to create a fitting tribute to your person. This could involve music, readings, memories from friends and family, the story of their life, and/or anything else that you want. A memorial can vary in length from a ten minute tribute followed by a party to an hour or more of stories, poems, readings and songs. The format and venue are entirely up to you, and I will be there to guide you as much or as little as you like.
