Sinead and Hayley-Jane

“We just wanted to say thank you for your brilliant work as our celebrant.

We’ve had so many comments from people saying how nice it was so thank you very much.”

Sinead and Hayley-Jane chose to have their wedding ceremony at Henshaws Arts and Crafts Centre – a place that provides a range of workshops for people living with a range of disabilities that enables them to discover their talents, put them into practice and realise their full potential. This is a place that has special meaning for me, as I work and volunteer there on a part-time basis. They said afterwards that the event “exceeded our expectations on all levels“.

The atmosphere of the day was wonderfully informal, with the couple simply choosing to gather everyone together at the start  to commence the ceremony rather than making a grand entrance. Special touches were added to the existing art work around the centre with home-made decorations.

As usual, I designed them a keepsake copy of the ceremony, which they said was “a lovely touch and something we’ll treasure.
