Welcome!

Hey! Welcome and thank you for stopping by! Congratulations if you are newly engaged or have been engaged a while and have entered into the planning stage. I hope you are enjoying your engagement bubble!

A little bit about me, I worked in hospitality for over 10 years and loved it! The craic, the friendships I made and the general chit chat and banter with customers. Not surprising for anyone who knows me – they all know I love a good natter! Working in hospitality also taught me the importance of attention to detail, those little details that could easily go unnoticed but if picked up on can make someone’s day.

I welcomed my first daughter into the world and realised my time with hospitality had come to an end. So, toddler in tow, I went back to uni and retrained as a Primary School teacher. Another job I am fortunate to love which enables me to unleash my ultra organised side!

How am I now a Humanist Celebrant you may ask?! I got married in 2021 and my husband and I had a Humanist Ceremony. We thought it was fab that our ceremony was about just us, telling our story. We used rituals to join both our families and guests together, this included a ‘Warming of the Rings’ ceremony and ‘Sand Blending’ – more about these in my FAQs! I believed this would be the best job and one I would feel privileged to do, also no better way to bring together my attention to detail, love of being organised and LOVE of getting to know people.

I now live in Newtownabbey with my husband and three children, although I travel throughout NI for weddings.
