I have observed levels of stress in bereaved families across the years that have been shocking and troubling. This should be a time when the focus is on your specific needs at what can be an extremely difficult time. You should be able to be with the people that matter to you as well as those who can comfort you. However, the volume of both admin and decision-making at a time of bereavement, particularly for the next of kin, can sometimes be simply overwhelming.
In addition to working as a celebrant, I can offer to take some of this extra burden away from you. From the very initial question of “which funeral director do I choose?” to “what should we do with the ashes?” From deciding whether or not to have a full funeral ceremony or a more simple family ceremony with, perhaps a memorial planned for a later date. And let’s not forget all the minutiae of difficult issues that have to be dealt with in the interim. I am happy to help.
