Returned home late last night after a whirlwind weekend. I am absolutely shattered but it was certainly well worth it!

I just wanted to say how delighted we all were with you Diane. It was a lovely eulogy thank you, and presented so well.

You covered everything and people that didn’t know Alan years ago well, they certainly do now.

I would like to thank you very much for the way in which you conducted Jon’s funeral ceremony.  It couldn’t have been done any better.  We have had so many people comment on how impressed they were by the ceremony , even Jon’s last boss said that he was going to request a funeral just like it and he is a very difficult man to please!

I just wanted to say how beautiful you made my Dad’s farewell on Tuesday. So many people commented how lovely it was and how you made Dad’s tribute so personal. One comment was that you made it sound like you’d known him for years. Mum said, and I agree, she couldn’t have wished for a better send off for him. Mum was also very touched that you gave her a print out of the tribute.

Thank you so much Diane, I wanted to hug you tight afterwards and wished you could have heard the comments for yourself.

Just a quick thank you for the wonderful tribute you gave to our neighbour B today.  I have never been to a Humanist ceremony before and I was really comforted by the way it was conducted.  I actually thought you were a family friend and was extremely surprised to learn that you did not know the family prior to the sad events.

Just wanted to drop a note on behalf of all of the family to say thanks so much for supporting and leading us through Dad’s funeral last week.

I think you realised from the start that we wanted lots of input and control and it wasn’t going to be a run of the mill send off!  Nevertheless you helped us understand the process and logistics and the appropriate format and you set the right tone with your ceremony, whilst allowing us to express our own thoughts about Dad, in our own way.

I felt Dad would have enjoyed and appreciated the day; lots of smiles amid the sadness and I know everyone who came to say goodbye and support Mum thought it was a great ceremony.

Thanks for making a difficult day much easier for us.

Thank you so much for orchestrating D’s funeral today. We all felt it went beautifully. I think we did her proud. It was so nice to have lovely comments from friends and family at the wake about the best funeral some had attended. If there is such a thing.
