Vow renewals

Beyond special anniversaries, there may be moments where you feel compelled to renew your wedding or partnership vows. Perhaps you’ve been through a difficult time and want to celebrate that despite life’s challenges, you’re still as committed to your relationship as you were on the day you were married? Whatever your motivation, I can help you to create a celebration that reprises your original vows to one another and reaffirms your relationship promises, involving all those close to you to witness your special moment.

 

 

Anniversaries

During lockdown, me and my husband celebrated our 10^th (tin) wedding anniversary. Good friends surprised us by sending a Tin Man through the post and we had a little party where the only guests were our two boisterous boys and Dave, our nutty cat. It was lovely and our Tin Man now has pride of place in our garden. But we couldn’t help thinking it would’ve been fantastic to share the occasion with our good friends and everyone else we love.

So when we’re able to, that’s exactly what we’ll do so that we can share and celebrate the last 10 years together. If you’re looking to do something similar, it would simply be my pleasure to help you.

 

 

Big birthdays

You might have a big birthday looming and instead of being gloomy and closing your blinds to the world, why not have a celebration that revisits your last decade and launches you into the next one?  Or you may want to surprise your loved one with a party for their big birthday and as a part of the celebration, get their friends and family tales to tell their tales of the last 10 years with them. However you want to mark a big birthday, I can work with you, your friends and family to gather up their memories and weave them into a life story that everyone will enjoy when it’s told.

 

Script only

If you would just like me to write a script for your celebration because you already have someone in mind to deliver it, that’s ok too. I can work with you to create and refine your script so that it’s ready for your celebration. And if your friend or family member is nervous about speaking in public, I can work with them so that they’re rehearsed and ready for the moment. As well as being a wedding celebrant, I have a degree in Performing Arts and years of experience giving presentations, so would be happy to provide coaching and support if needed.

 

A Made For You celebration

Whatever your life milestone, I can help you to make your occasion one that celebrates your special moment. To do so, I’d work with you in the same way as I would for a wedding or partnership ceremony, where I find out as much about you and your story leading up to your milestone before I put pen to paper.
