You don’t have to be a Humanist to have a Humanist Ceremony, just a wish to celebrate in a non-religious way is all that is needed.

A Humanist ceremony is a meaningful, non-religious ceremony created especially for you as a couple to celebrate your commitment to each other and gives you freedom from the traditional conventions of church or civil ceremonies.  There is no template to follow, it can be romantic, family focused, full of humour, extremely simple or a blend of all of those to make it totally bespoke to you.

You can include pretty much any music, poetry or symbolic ritual you like, for example, ring-warming, hand-fasting, lighting of unity candles’ or ‘sand-blending’…..which i’m happy to explain further if you would like.

Ceremonies typically last about 30 – 40 minutes depending on what you want to include.

As Humanist Ceremonies are legal in Northern Ireland I will guide you through the process, helping to make sure all necessary documentation is submitted on time.

The price for a Humanist Ceremony varies and Humanists UK advise ceremonies will be between £350 – £1000, my charge will typically be between  £350 – £550 depending on what you want to include.  However I can guarantee that once a price is agreed at the start of the process there will be no hidden charges.
