Ken Lowles

Hello there.
My name’s Ken and I’m a non-religious funeral celebrant, covering Leicestershire and the West Midlands.  I have 8 years’ experience and I’m accredited by Humanists UK.

Working as a Humanist Funeral Celebrant is a privilege. Since 2011, many families have asked me to lead funerals for their loved-ones.  For many of those who attend, it’s their first experience of a humanist ceremony.  They leave, not only with a positive experience of commemorating a life, but also, with the realisation that such a commemoration can be perfectly effective without singing hymns or chanting prayers.

The focus of a Humanist Funeral is to portray the deceased in a way that’s personal and unique – using a tribute, readings and music that reflect them in a positive light.
