Want something different? More you?

Congratulations, you are planning one of the most significant events of your life – your wedding/civil partnership. You want the day to be relevant, unique, and special and that includes the ceremony.

What is on offer though for most couples, including same sex couples, is often limited.

A religious ceremony doesn’t fit in with a lot of people’s outlook in life and similarly, a Register Office ceremony has legal restrictions that for many couples, offers little in terms of personal or emotional content or flexibility. Increasingly, the demand for more satisfying and unique celebrations emphasises the locality of your wedding/civil partnership as key to your ceremony.

As part of the increasing demand for more satisfying and unique celebrations, the locality of your wedding/civil partnership can be the foundation of your ceremony. We increasingly see many celebrities’ having their ceremonies in the most exquisite and exotic locations, and it inspires couples to want their own special setting.

You can. Whether it is your own back garden, a local wood or somewhere far grander, you can have your ceremony anywhere you choose, provided of course you have the owner’s permission.

Humanists view marriage and a civil partnership as a real commitment centred on the deep love that a couple have for one another, based on equality and mutual respect.

By choosing to have a Humanist ceremony, you will be having a non religious ceremony that is individual and just right for you.

I am a fully accredited Humanist Wedding Celebrant with the British Humanist Association and I enjoy helping couples plan and make decisions at a time when the process can seem intimidating.

I love weddings; they are so heart warming, life affirming and fun. To see a ceremony that I have helped to come together and help make a special day truly memorable is so satisfying. I would like to help you, if you’d like.
