Naming ceremonies offer the chance to gather family and friends together to celebrate a new life being brought into the world. They provide an opportunity to reflect what roles people will play in the life of their child, in a way that isn’t religious.

As one of 8 siblings, our family is continually growing and the children are a central part! The joy each new arrival brings is something to celebrate.

As each persons is unique, so is each Naming Ceremony and generally includes singing, music, poems, parental promises to children or the appointment of ‘Guide Parents’. I will get to know you, your family and your new addition to decide what you would like to be included in your ceremony. I can offer advice and suggestions of other ceremonies I have conducted and ensure the ceremony captures your hopes and dreams for your new life. A presentation folder including a copy of the final script will be provided after the ceremony.
