Weddings and Vow Renewals

Your wedding day should be one of the most memorable and happiest days of your life. The ceremony is at the heart of that day and sets the tone for the excitement, love and joy surrounding you.

The ceremony will tell your story as a couple; how you met, all the little quirks and funny things you share, what it is that you love about each other and quite frequently enlightening friends and family on details they were unaware of.

There is creative potential for your own personal input throughout. You can choose your own readings or poetry. You can select your own music. You can also devise your own vows. You can have the wedding ceremony wherever you decide. It doesn’t have to be a licensed venue as with registrars. Let your imaginations run wild!

There are symbolic actions you can make such as hand-fasting, ring warming, the lighting of a unity candle from two individual ones and many more. These actions confirm different sentiments and stay in people’s memories after the day.

I will meet you and gather information and ideas from you, also offering ideas for you to mull over. I will construct a ceremony based on the information you have given me. You are then able to check this through and make sure you’re happy with it and, don’t worry, I will continue to make changes until you are. I’m always available on the phone or by email and we can meet for a coffee in between. We will have a practice rehearsal at the venue before the big day.

On the day I will deliver the ceremony confidently and with warmth. You will be given a presentation script of the ceremony to keep and a wedding certificate. Currently in England, you will still have to see a registrar for the legal part. People usually do this quietly a few days before the ceremony.

My fees are £650. (Mileage at 45p per mile for journeys over 20 miles is additional.)
