Funerals
The death of a loved one is always a difficult time. A funeral ceremony is a very important part of the grieving process – a meaningful goodbye to those we have lost, as well as a celebration of their life.
How does it work?
Once you have booked me as your funeral celebrant, we will have a meeting in person. I want to get to know the life of your loved one; we will talk about what they liked, what made them tick, and what made them them. Think of your best anecdotes with them; the funniest family stories; their best traits. I’ll learn all about them, as well as what form you would like the ceremony to take. Want to make it light-hearted and funny? Would you like to include lots of meaningful poetry, or include the music that meant so much to them in their life? I will work with you to create a funeral ceremony that is tailored to your loved one, and truly reflects their personality, and the way they lived their life. The service is completely personalised to them.
I am also available for memorials that are not held in crematoria or burial grounds.
