Many people commented that they could hear **** throughout it. I also received many compliments from attendees on the way the ceremony went, including from several people who have strong Christian beliefs and had never been to a humanist ceremony before. You set the tone really well. June 2018

I can act either as the person to bring it all together, with family and friends making contributions or I can write and deliver the whole ceremony. That is the beauty of a Humanist ceremony – it is organic and gives you the choice to be as involved as you wish to be. It may be that when the person has died, you don’t yet know what you want – that is why the initial meeting or conversation is such an important part of the process. It is an opportunity for you to spend time sharing your memories and telling your stories so that we slowly build a picture of a personalised ceremony. I always remind families that it is their ceremony; not mine.

“This was the best funeral I have ever been to. I want to book you for mine! The suggestion of applause was great. G****** would have loved that!” March 2017

A Humanist funeral will not have any religious content and there will usually be time constraints governed by the venue.
