Thank you for considering me to be your Celebrant.
My name is Victoria Baldwin and it would be my privilege to be your Celebrant.
I live in Barry, in the Vale of Glamorgan, with my husband, our son and our rescue cats. I am a second language Welsh speaker and can incorporate this into your ceremony should you wish.
I believe that each and every person deserves a ceremony created just for them. That’s why every ceremony that I write will be bespoke and designed to honour the memory of your loved one.
I will work with you to capture the essence of what made that person special – things that they said or did, their habits, likes and dislikes. By their nature, funerals are a difficult time for families, but a well-written ceremony that truly reflects the person it has been prepared for can help ease some of the stress relating to bereavement.
Each family that I have worked with has told me that the ceremony perfectly captures their loved one. My ceremonies are respectful and dignified, but include humour where appropriate. I have attended funerals where I don’t recognise the person being spoken about, or where details are inaccurate. With over 40 years experience of writing professionally for a wide range o audiences, I am confident that can produce the perfect ceremony for your loved one. I refuse to do a ceremony that is less than perfect, so that’s my commitment to you.
