Welcome – I’m Cara,

I love, with a passion, my role as a Humanist Celebrant.

So, what makes me a humanist? Well, for me, humanism is a celebration and appreciation of individualism, community and curiosity of life.

I believe we all need to make the most of the one life we have, and the importance of life lies in the connections we make on our life’s journey.

Being a celebrant is therefore a hugely rewarding and privileged career for me. It enables me to indulge in my curiosity and celebration of our fellow human beings’ individuality and uniqueness.

Who we are

HUMANIST CEREMONIES™ is a network of humanist celebrants trained and accredited by Humanists UK. We offer humanist naming, wedding or partnership, and funeral and memorial ceremonies for non-religious people. Each ceremony is unique, appropriate, and personal. Our skilled celebrants come from all walks of life and have great integrity, sensitivity and experience. Their ceremonies reflect these personal qualities and the excellence of our training.

Where are we?

Humanist Ceremonies™ offers non-religious ceremonies throughout England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. In Scotland, these ceremonies are offered by Humanist Society Scotland.
