Chris Balkwill

My name is Chris Balkwill and I conduct humanist funeral ceremonies in the South Bucks area. I live with my family in High Wycombe and I’m willing to travel into the surrounding areas of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Herts, and Oxfordshire to meet families and conduct the funeral itself, so places like Amersham, Chesham, Berkhamsted, Slough, Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, Marlow, Henley, Maidenhead, Aylesbury, Denham and Watford.

I have worked in radio (in Malta, Cyprus, Germany and London for BFBS) and started up and managed a satellite telecommunications company, sending news videos instantly around the world. I also have experience in consultancy and business education, and because of my wide range of experience I am well used to meeting people from all different walks of life.

Apart from my work as a celebrant, I train business people to communicate better in their presentations and meetings. Often that means getting them comfortable by finding out about them – and telling their story.
