Hi there.  I’m David Moon, a naming, wedding and funeral celebrant.

Have you been to a christening that had all the parts you’d expect but somehow you didn’t quite connect with or feel a part of?  Or a wedding that was a nice, formal, ritualistic half-hour before the real fun stuff starts?  Or perhaps a funeral, that felt impersonal and at odds with the person you knew?   It doesn’t have to be like that.

Celebrate your uniqueness in a ceremony that is written with you, and for you.  Your ceremony will be special and memorable for all the right reasons: fun, joyous and touching, with laughter and probably tears.  I’d like to think it goes without saying, whichever personal pronouns you identify with is who you are.  It is how you love others, and others love you, that we celebrate.

A bit about me?  I grew up in Kent, studied drug research, which led me to Switzerland, then to Sussex.  I recently moved to Northumberland, after many years in the vibrant and progressive city of Brighton.  I’m into music, wildlife sound recording, the visual arts, nature, cooking, our dogs, getting out and about on legs and two wheels and helping others celebrate their big life moments.
