‘We are so glad we found Deborah Gearing. She gave my father a wonderful send off. We chose Deborah partly because of her fluent German which was used in the service to great effect when she read a poem by Goethe. Deborah was very empathetic and understanding when we met to discuss my father, and was happy to collaborate with us when coming up with the words to be used. Several people at the funeral told us that it was the best one they had been to and this was down to Deborah’s words and her delivery of them.
