Hello, my name is Ian Harris.

I live in Bramham (between York and Leeds)

I am a former teacher and am now a celebrant

I conduct individual and personal  ceremonies, mainly in Yorkshire, but am happy to travel further afield on request.

Your personal ceremony will be all about celebrating the deceased in a manner that they deserve. One that truly reflects the person they were and the values they held. One that honours them with warmth, honesty, and dignity

 

I aim to work with  to help you and to guide you through the process, to create a fitting celebration .

I can conduct ceremonies in various venues,

I will help you with choices of music, poetry or readings to create a unique and special occasion

 

Whatever the nature, scale or setting of the occasion, I promise that I will

• Meet with you at a time and place of your convenience
• Give you a personalised, sensitive, and respectful service
• Explain the process the choices open to you and what you might expect
• Work closely with you to craft a ceremony that is individual, respectful, and genuinely reflects the person or people at its centre

 

After the service I will

• Provide you with a presentation copy of the ceremony to share with those who are unable to make the service and to look back on in years to come
