Thank you so much for all you hard work and diligence. As I said before I really did feel held and supported running up to yesterday which was such a comfort. I wish you could have heard all the compliments that people were saying afterwards, about your delivery and the shape of the service. M said that she was dreading it, having never been to an English funeral she thought it was going to be very “dark”, but she after she felt lighter and that she had had a really good opportunity to say goodbye. Many said the service was a perfect balance of levity and sobriety and how much they enjoyed the eulogy. It really felt very inclusive which set the wake off to a good start!
