I have a flexible approach to pricing – please feel free to discuss, especially if you are designing your own rituals.  Prices include the consultations beforehand, a fully tailored script and tribute, liaison with the funeral director, leading the service on the day and the provision of an electronic copy of the service afterwards.

I may ask for a 50% deposit when you engage me for the preparatory work. Expenses may be charged where the distance is over 15 miles from my home (@50p per mile) or for additional services.

My prices do not reflect an hourly rate as the time invested in family meetings, research and writing a quality script is as long as a piece of string. Delivery on the day is only one element of the service.

I offer a 10% discount for ceremonies for Green Party Members.

Sample prices (August 2023):

£230 crematorium chapel service (up to 45 mins)

£250-£300 longer chapel service (double slot) with or without graveside farewell (over 45 mins)

£175 – 250 memorial service or ashes ceremony (30 mins – 60 mins)

£125+ provision of an order of service and script for you to lead your own funeral at home or online

£50 per consultation meeting for pre-planning a farewell ceremony
