I have a flexible approach to pricing – please feel free to discuss, especially if you are designing your own rituals.  Prices include the consultations beforehand, a fully tailored script and tribute, liaison with the funeral director, leading the service on the day and the provision of an electronic copy of the service afterwards.

I may ask for a 50% deposit when you engage me for the preparatory work. Expenses may be charged where the distance is over 15 miles from my home (@50p per mile) or for additional services.

My prices do not reflect an hourly rate as the time invested in family meetings, research and writing a quality script is as long as a piece of string. Delivery on the day is only one element of the service.

I offer a 10% discount for ceremonies for Green Party Members.

Sample prices (January 2026):

£245 for preparing and presenting a script at crematorium chapel service (up to 45 mins)

£260 – £320 for preparing and presenting a script at a longer chapel service (double slot) with or without graveside farewell (over 45 mins)

£175 – £275 for a memorial service or ashes ceremony at location decided by you (30 mins – 60 mins)

£125+ for the provision of a curated script for you to lead your own funeral or memorial at home or online

£50 per consultation meeting for pre-planning your affairs and your farewell ceremony

£35 – £50 for advice on disposing of ashes
