What can I offer you?

If you want a personal Wedding ceremony that has been crafted around you, your relationship and your values then let’s talk. I write and deliver Wedding ceremonies that are unique to my couples. This starts with a chat, getting to know you and hearing your stories. This will guide me to find the tone, language, style and content for your ceremony. I also offer a vow writing service and will guide your through choosing readings and the structure of the ceremony. I can help you design or chose a symbolic action for you marriage e.g. Exchanging rings, tying the knot, sand blending. A wedding ceremony can be traditional, quirky, playful, intimate, romantic, humorous, poetic…. there are no creative limits with me! There is no fixed formats, but I will offer examples and options. You’ll be guided through the whole process (and I will make it fun!).

Where can you find me?

I live in Northwich (Cheshire) but I am regularly found in all over North Wales, Merseyside and Greater Manchester. Do you live further than that? No problem, I love a road trip so I will happily travel and explore a new area!

Is it Legal?

In Scotland, Yes. In England & Wales, Not yet –  but Humanists UK are working on that.
Most couples will arrange a separate trip to the registry office to fill out the paperwork (this can be done at any time for about £60). BUT…. most people also see the Humanist ceremony as their real wedding, and the one their guests are invited to. The perks of it not being legal? It means we can be outside, in your house, at your favourite cafe…. anywhere really! As a wedding licence is not required. It also means there is no legal requirement to quote particular lines of text. So everything in the ceremony will be chosen by you!

How much does it cost?

Every Wedding is different, so the price varies based on the type of Ceremony you want. (Expect to pay around £500-600). An exact, all inclusive, quote will be provided after the first meeting. This quote will include:

• A (free) no obligation, initial meeting to get to know each other
• Planning Meetings to inspire your ceremony text
• Planning Meetings to decide the format of your ceremony, including readings, music and symbolic gestures.
• A Vow writing workshop (if you want it)
• Unlimited Script Edits
• A Unique and Personal Wedding ceremony script – all about you!
• A Rehearsal (if you want it) 
• My undivided time on your Wedding day to deliver and manage your Wedding Ceremony – I will only book one Wedding per day so that I’m all yours. I will link in with your Wedding Planner, Venue Manager and Photographer to ensure it all runs smoothly. I will also give plenty of support to your family, guests and the Wedding party.
• Any additional travel or accommodation expenses (this is free when the meetings / venue is within 50 miles of my home in Northwich)
