The arrival of a child is such a significant and wonderful event it should definitely be acknowledged and celebrated!   We would be delighted to help you celebrate the growth of your family by creating a heartfelt ceremony for your child.

Similar to a wedding, a naming ceremony can take place anywhere and be as grand or simple as you want it to be.  From half a dozen people in someone’s kitchen to a hundred people in a beautiful castle and anything in between.  You choose the venue and tell us what sort of ceremony you would like and we will help you to create a personal, unique and special day to remember for your child.   We will include what is important to you and can share lots of ideas for symbolic actions and promises.  Whether you are celebrating the arrival of a new baby or an older child is joining your family, a naming ceremony is a get way to bring the important people in your life together to acknowledge the arrival of your child and celebrate.

When my children were born, as well as unbounded love, I felt a strong desire to publicly recognise their arrival, introduce them to our friends and family and explain to everyone how important they were to us.  A naming ceremony was the perfect way to do this.   We made promises to them in front of all our friends and family and appointed ‘guide-parents’ who are there to offer additional support as they grow.  We were able to share the joy of their arrival with the people we loved and celebrate together.
