Congratulations, if you have found this webpage, it is because you are planning one of the most significant events of your life – your wedding or civil partnership. Whether you are looking to commit yourself to your partner or renew your vows, you want the day to be relevant, unique, and meaningful to you both. A Humanist ceremony provides you with the opportunity to marry where you want, when you want and how you want; to show your family and friends what your relationship means to you.

A Humanist ceremony can be as formal or informal as you wish, at a location that may not be licensed for civil weddings, including outdoors or in your own home.

There is no set format to my ceremonies because each one is unique to the individuals involved, but it can generally include readings, poems, music, your own personal stories – what you value and your hopes for the future. The couple usually make vows or commitments to each other and often exchange rings. You may also wish to include a symbolic gesture, such as hand fasting, candle lighting or sand blending. With my experience and guidance, I will help you to choose every aspect of the ceremony yourself, writing as much or as little of the script as you wish.

From our first meeting, I will guide you through the process with my knowledge and experience, and help you with any decision making and further planning. I will ensure that your script reflects your personalities and that it will be unique and memorable, as well as fun!
