I grew up along the North Coast and left for university in Scotland, where I settled for 10 years. There I met my wonderful wife, and we returned home to Northern Ireland. We’re fortunate to be parents to three incredible children who share our love for the outdoors and exploring our little universe.

We got married at a lovely church in Scotland and the day itself was amazing. However, had we been aware of the humanist option, our ceremony would have revolved much more around who we were and who we wanted to be together. It’s perhaps a good thing we don’t know though, we may have gone a bit mad with it!
