A Humanist funeral allows you to reflect  who your loved one really was and  what they  meant to those around them.  These are examples of feedback I have received.

Mary patiently took the time with us to understand dad’s life and the kind of person he was. She carefully worked to craft a wonderful service which spoke to dad’s contributions and truly reflected his philosophy of life. Thank-you Mary for your compassion and understanding.

Not only did Mary put together a moving and sympathetic service, she delivered it in a warm and caring tone whilst also managing to make it special for all members of a fragmented family

It was my mother’s funeral and my brother suggested a humanist ceremony. I had never been to one and was a little hesitant but so glad we had it. It was all about Mum. It went very smoothly and Mary Porter was compassionate, calm and very supportive and one guest was so inspired by her that she has decided to try to become a celebrant herself.
