A Humanist ceremony gives you the opportunity to celebrate in your own way.

Together we will work on a script which reflects your family story.  You may have a piece of music or a nursery rhyme you particularly like, or a favourite poem or reading you would like to share, if you don’t have anything in mind, we will work on it together to find pieces which are right for you.

Your child’s Guide Parents, Supporting Adults – you can call them what you like – will make promises to your child, and may want to read a piece they have chosen. Your child’s siblings may want to take part – they will probably steal the show!

The most important thing about a Humanist celebration is that it’s yours, and that makes it special.
