You, me and a great day!

I’m delighted you’ve landed on my profile and you’re now trying to work out if I’m the celebrant for you.

Being a humanist naming celebrant allows me to deliver a non religious and wonderfully memorable ceremony which hopefully you and your guests will talk about for years to come.

These ceremonies should be meaningful for all and, if there are appointed guide parents, they make vows they can live up to, such as promising to take the child shopping when they grow older, teach them craft skills and hobbies or even letting them have pizza and not making them eat their vegetables!

Even though I still work full time in a Head Office Retail role, I love the celebrant side of my life and always give my full commitment to it. Building a bespoke ceremony, rich in language and full of fun and joy is a real treat for me. To see the impact it has on people and how it creates special memories is a bonus.

My ceremonies are crafted with you and for you.

Naming ceremonies are a lovely way to welcome & announce a new baby, blend families together, create a sense of occasion for an adopted child taking their new family name and to introduce a name change for someone who is throwing off their old life / name and stepping in to their own future either with a name change or a new gender.

Recently, I created a ceremony for a gender reveal. That was unexpected but also so exciting. The options for what you want and what you can have are only limited by our combined imaginations.

Having a naming celebrant allows you to concentrate on all the other things for the day itself. Let’s have a chat and see what we all think. It will be fun!
