Congratulations to you both on making the decision to get married.

It’s your wedding, your way. My first task when we meet is to listen to what you want. I’ll be happy to ask lots of questions and have ideas myself, but it’s your special day.

The beauty of a humanist marriage ceremony is that there are no rules. You can make the ceremony reflect who you both are, choose the music, ask who you want to be involved, have a bubble blowing moment, colourful balloons and a myriad of other ideas. You can opt to say your promises to each other or be prompted by me.

Peter and I married in 2016 and were thrilled to have Diana Naumann as our Celebrant. Diana was very patient with us and asked so many questions about ideas and approaches that we hadn’t thought about. All our family and friends commented that it was a very personal ceremony that was a marvellous celebration of our love and reflected who we are.

Fees

My fee for weddings in 2024 starts at £680.00. I’ll come and meet you both to find out more about you and your ideal celebration, I’ll write your ceremony (and review it as many times as it takes to get it “just right”),  I’ll meet you for a rehearsal beforehand and I’ll officiate on your special day.
