Nick is a Namings celebrant, accredited by Humanists UK.   He trades as Rainbow Celebrations UK, offering bespoke ceremonies that are both inclusive and celebratory.

NAMINGS are a special part of many people’s family rituals, signifying the coming into the family of a new baby or child, or alternatively serving to mark a new identity or welcoming into a new ‘family’ at key moments in our lives.

Ceremonies often include some symbolic action or gesture, and some make inclusion for all, youngest to oldest, the focus of the occasion, as well as the public witnessing of aspirations of Parents, Family and Supporting Friends for the individual(s) being named, but the actual content is entirely up to you.

Nick views Naming Ceremonies as joyous, heart-warming and fun occasions, often including lots of children, and aims to make the ceremony relaxed, enjoyable and inclusive for all those present.  Nick also takes account of the chosen venue, having conducted ceremonies in a riding school, a delicatessen, the Liver Building, a cricket club and a back garden!

Nick sees humanist ceremonies as a way of affirming key values in relation to the individuals concerned, and providing a shared celebration or ritual, created in accordance with the wishes of the individuals concerned.  The aim is to provide a uniquely memorable and inclusive occasion for all.  He aims to design and deliver each ceremony as a personal story, filled with warmth, sincerity and joy.

Nick is also accredited as a celebrant for Weddings and Vow renewals.
