“Thank you so much for a wonderful ceremony!  The feedback on the day was wonderful and a testament to your talent and skill.

Nobody had been to a naming day before and there had been talk within the family about what one would entail. More traditional family members who were disappointed initially that we had opted out of a religious ceremony were totally won over and realised that this ceremony was much more personal to Queenie.

Here are some of the comments:

Great Grandma who was in tears said “that ceremony made us so proud. It was wonderful hearing all about Queenie’s personality”

Friends said “we’ve been to a lot of boring christenings but I’ve never listened to every single word like I did at Queenie’s naming day. It was fascinating.”

One friend said “The celebrant was ace. It was like you had Sir Ian McKellen welcoming your baby to the world”

Another said “It was amazing. Having Nick made it so official yet fun. It was like an episode of ‘This Is Your Life’ for Queenie.”

Family said they were laughing at many points in the ceremony and in tears at others and it was a day they wouldn’t forget. We had a few babies in attendance whose parents said they had never heard of a Naming day but would be following suit after the impact of ours.

And personally, Josh and I just want to say that from the first contact with yourself, you have been nothing but friendly and professional. I gave you a lot of information and couldn’t believe how much of it you managed to fit into the script. Your delivery on the day was so personal, it was as if you had always been a friend of the family and knew Queenie so well. You immediately put us all at ease. Josh had been a nervous wreck prior to the ceremony but your relaxed attitude had him laughing and joking. You truly made our baby’s day so special and memorable. We cannot thank you enough.
