All celebrants accredited by Humanists UK usually work within a recommended price range so you know what to expect.

 

Dependent on the amount of travel involved expenses may be added on top of these prices.

 

Mileage up to 20 miles from my home postcode is included in my fee. Outside of 20 miles is priced at 45p per mile as recommended by the gov.uk website. Mileage is calculated using Google maps.

 

***Please note, there is an additional 10% charge for bank holiday weekends and public holidays.***

 

I pay costs to Humanists UK to cover an accreditation and membership fee, Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance and as a contribution towards Humanist Ceremonies™ and the training and personal development of celebrants.

Naming Ceremonies

My prices for a naming, welcoming or remembrance ceremony start at £300.

For ceremonies with additional children that are not siblings there is an extra £100 fee for each. (e.g. cousins or friends).

I am happy to give you an exact, no obligation quote so there are no hidden extras.  Just let me know a) where and when you are planning to hold your ceremony and b) how many children/people are being named.

I do not charge for ceremonies following the tragic loss of a baby.

A free, no obligation, conversation via phone will take place.  If you are happy to go ahead an initial 50% deposit is required to secure your date.

Then, a face to face / Skype / WhatsApp video meeting will be arranged in which we will go through lots of information about your family and start to plan your big day.

Once this meeting is concluded, you will be required to pay the remaining deposit, which takes the total paid to half of the balance for your ceremony.

The final balance is due 2 weeks before the day.

Wedding Ceremonies

My prices for a wedding, partnership, commitment ceremony or vow renewal start at £480.

For ceremonies where more than one couple are making vows to each other, there will be an additional charge.

I am happy to give you an exact, no obligation quote so there are no hidden extras.  Just let me know where and when you are planning to hold your ceremony.

A free, no obligation, conversation via phone will take place.  If you are happy to go ahead an intial £150 deposit is required to secure your date.

Then, a face to face / Skype / WhatsApp video meeting will be arranged in which we will go through lots of information about you both and start to plan your big day.

Once this meeting is concluded, you will be required to pay the remaining deposit, which takes the total paid to half of the balance for your ceremony.

The final balance is due 1 month before the day.
