Do you want to celebrate life and love in picturesque Portugal? Do you want a celebration that is authentically you? Then, I am your celebrant! I will craft a bespoke script that shines your light into the world in a memorable way. English and Portuguese are my native languages and I can weave in some Spanish and French too, if that suits you.
I believe that today is a gift that we must unwrap as if it is the only one we get, because it cannot be taken for granted. I also believe that it is important to cherish and celebrate each other while we can, and I relish translating people’s feelings, dreams and visions into words and actions, through bespoke celebrations.
Oh, the magic of bringing together friends and family to witness a wedding ceremony! No two wedding celebrations should sound alike, because each one is meant to reflect who you are in the world at that moment. The celebration will also point in the direction you are headed in a way that is unquestionably reflective of your personality, style, and vision. I will ensure that the celebration reflects you in a way that is unique to you, because like Dr Seuss said, “there is no one alive that is youer than you!” (in his book, ‘Happy birthday to you’).
For twenty years I worked as a primary teacher, a teacher trainer and a coach, and it was an honour to do such meaningful work. I have always empathised strongly with people, and I relish helping others find and develop their strengths. I am truly multipassionate and fascinated about learning, so I do a little bit of everything. I love swimming in the sea, organising the unofficial Park Run in Lisbon, and hosting the podcast Anxiety My Friend – Ansiedade Minha Amiga
Now, as a celebrant, I can help you shine your unique light in the world. I have a deep sense that life is short and that it is important to celebrate and share with those that weave meaning into our lives. Yes, you can have a non-religious wedding that is full of meaning, friendship and ritual. I look forward to chatting with you to find out what is important to you, because anything is possible!
