FAQ

💜 Where can we have our ceremony?

You can have your ceremony anywhere you want. If you choose to get the legal part done in Portugal, you need to do that in any notary (registo civil). Check more details in this helpful article by The Knot.

💜 What if there is a delay?

I only have one ceremony per day, so my schedule will be cleared for you. I don’t believe in perfect weddings, because life is made of all sorts of unexpected events, but I do believe in practising emotional flexibility so that you can have the day of your dreams.

💜 Will a bilingual ceremony feel repetitive?

No! I will not translate your ceremony into different languages, but instead, I will weave the two or three languages of significance into the script in a seamless and loving way.

💜 What if a family member wants a religious text to be included?

This is all about your values and sharing them with people who mean the world to you. So, you can expect me to ask how this text is relevant to you and to this family member, and if it makes sense, of course we will include it.

💜 Would you do a naturist ceremony?

Yes! I think that people should have the wedding celebration they dream of, and if clothes aren’t in the dream, then why include them? Whether it’s a clothed or nude wedding, I always discuss boundaries, to ensure that everyone involved is and feels safe.
