Funerals

Roland Baskeyfield – Celebrant

Through a visit to either your home or another suitable location, I will guide you through each step, supporting you, as we discuss the content of the ceremony. Memories, stories and anecdotes that tell your loved one’s life story typically form the heart of the story. The visit itself may take one to two hours.

There is plenty of scope for flexibility, incorporating tributes from family and friends, readings and poetry, plus music of course – making a personal and unique experience. You may have a clear vision of what you would like and I will be on hand to make suggestions to help make this a relevant, dignified and meaningful ceremony.

Following our meeting, I will draft the ceremony script, sharing this back with you for review and any amendments, before confirming your approval.

On the day of the funeral, I will be there to greet and welcome you, liaising with the Funeral Director to ensure everything runs smoothly, before conducting the ceremony itself. Afterwards, as a keepsake, I will present you with a copy of the ceremony script, within a presentation folder.
