Making it legal 

As English marriage laws are currently stuck in the dark ages, it is becoming standard procedure to register your wedding at the registry office around the date of your humanist wedding.

Plan is, you register your marriage as you would normally (costs around £35 each) then look for the dates when you can complete this legal section of your marriage with two witnesses for around £57 (this is in Worcestershire). 

Note: All registry offices should give you the opportunity to have this small registration of marriage by law.
