I’m Siân and I’m a wedding and Naming celebrant accredited by Humanists UK.  I love creating ceremonies that are unique, personal, fun, joyful and have a real ‘heart’.

WEDDINGS

I pride myself on being warm, friendly and professional and take a lot of time and care when preparing your script.  I love getting to know people, hearing their stories and finding out why they’ve chosen to get married.   If you know exactly what you’d like to be included in your ceremony, that’s great!  If you have absolutely no idea then that’s great too as I have lots of ideas about what can be included and different ways of creating your perfect ceremony.  As well as weddings I also offer elopements and vow renewals.

My husband and I had a humanist marriage ceremony in Scotland back in 2015 and that’s where the idea to become a celebrant myself first began to take hold.  When I’m not writing or delivering ceremonies with wonderful people, I’m an opera singer.  I love powerful stories, emotions and of course a bit of romance and I’ve been lucky enough to work with many different sectors of the community.  I’m also a massive fan of the great outdoors, I love reading science articles and I’ve been known to do the odd spot of baking.

If you’re welcoming a new addition/s to the family then please do check out my Namings page!  I offer fun beautifully crafted ceremonies that ensure everyone feels welcome.  So many lovely things can be included such as promises from parents and guide parents, poems, readings, etc.  I also offer ceremonies for people who have transitioned and would like to find a way of celebrating with those who care about them the most.
