About Steph Bramwell

I decided to train as a celebrant after going to a Humanist funeral myself – it was so personal and moving, and felt like a meaningful way to say goodbye.

I’ve been conducting Humanist funerals and memorial ceremonies for over 20 years, mostly in and around North London, though I will occasionally travel further.

As well as taking funerals myself, I also act as a mentor for new celebrants.

Outside of ceremony work I enjoy walking – I have walked around London twice, walked the length of the River Thames, and I have recently finished walking in stages from London to Birmingham along the Grand Union Canal. I am involved in publishing a local poetry magazine, and I enjoy theatre,  reading, drawing and painting, and I sing in a community choir.
