Hi, my name is Tim and I am a Humanist UK wedding and funeral celebrant.

Over the years, I’ve attended many humanist celebrations. But it was when I designed our own ceremony for our second marriage, five years ago, that I got a real feel for how significant it is to create a celebration meaningful to the couple, their family and friends. Choosing the readings and the music, inviting our loved ones to speak, setting the tone that celebrated our happiness and love…it was a wonderful experience, making lasting memories for everyone there.

A couple of years later, we hosted a wedding for friends at our farm in Wales. Another unique and magical celebration full of love and joy, it affirmed my desire to make this my next career.

On our farm, we are surrounded by the continuing circle of life; it reminds me to make the very best we can of the here and now.

I enjoyed a thirty year career in teaching, and now I love creating and conducting memorable services to commemorate some of the most important moments in our lives. The pleasure of  listening to people’s stories, because no two are the same, helps me to shape and create the ceremony you will treasure for ever.
