CEREMONIES TO CELEBRATE LIFE … & LOVE

Funerals, Memorials, Weddings, Hand Fastings, Vow Renewals & Namings

Oxfordshire  |  Buckinghamshire  |  Berkshire  |  Hertfordshire

As a humanist celebrant, I work on your behalf to help you plan a ceremony that is warm, heartfelt and in keeping with the beliefs and personality of the people involved.

What if I’m not a humanist?

You don’t need to have been a humanist to have a humanist ceremony – they are appropriate for all and are inclusive of all faiths.

“Tracy took the funeral of my partner who died young, and did a brilliant job of crafting the perfect ceremony for us, making it light-hearted in places, fun, and most of all including our children and the family. Tracy’s natural compassion and empathy made it so easy for me to leave her to find the right words. We laughed and we cried but it brought us all together. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Tracy did an amazing job with my Dad’s funeral, not only did she provide such an incredibly sensitive service but this was reflected in the service itself. By learning about who my Dad really was as a person and what he meant to people, Tracy was able to reflect this in the content, style and tone of the ceremony. The funeral itself was a celebration of colour and kindness, all in all the perfect tribute to my Dad.

“It was my first humanist funeral, so different to what we have in Poland, but carried out by Tracy with great tact, dignity and delicacy. She created such a wonderful atmosphere as my son was bid farewell by his friends and family in a warm and loving way. Tracy has immense personal empathy and her words were extremely moving, included so many joyful memories of my son’s life. I am so grateful to Tracy for creating and leading the ceremony with such sincerity and integrity.”

“Tracy is so warm and fun – we just instantly clicked as soon as we spoke. We weren’t really sure what we wanted for our ceremony but Tracy guided us through our choices and when we first read her ceremony script we were over the moon! She had captured us perfectly and her recounting of the story of how we met had us laughing out loud (and reaching for the tissues at the soppy bits). We can’t wait to get married, just because we know we have this perfect and memorable ceremony that will involve all our guests and make everyone feel special on our day!

A bit about me

I live on the border of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire at the edge of the Chiltern hills and have worked in publishing and the creative industries for much of my career, as well as founding a national cancer charity over ten years ago.

I became a celebrant because of my joy of meeting new people and sharing in their stories, whether they are fabulously romantic and funny stories of love, or warm and heartfelt memories of a life well-lived. Stories and our shared life experiences are the things that bind us all together – they can bring us joy and comfort through life’s biggest moments.
