Now that the dust has settled and life is returning to normal, we just wanted to send you an email to say a very huge and heartfelt thank you for everything you did for the ceremony. It was just so special and even though we had read the script before the big day, the ceremony on the day was incredible. We both agree it was our favourite part of the day. Everyone who spoke to us after commented on how heartfelt and so totally “us” it was. The Irish guests (seasoned wedding goers and very much used to traditional Catholic ceremonies) were so complimentary too and commented on how much life and personality there was to the ceremony. You told the story of us perfectly, from first dates to proposal and everything in between! It really felt like there was love and a bit of magic in the air (as well as rain!) and for that, we are truly grateful.

We had the best day ever! I was expecting the drunk dancing later in the evening to be my favourite part (as it usually is at other peoples weddings), but the ceremony was just my absolute favourite, and so many other people have said the same thing too.

“Vicky was the perfect humanist celebrant for our wedding.

We had decided to plan and organise our wedding from scratch, and had a lot to finish before the big day.

One of the last big jobs was to find a humanist celebrant, admittedly with short notice.

Vicky offered to set up a few video calls to meet and chat about us and how the wedding was to pan out. Not only did this process allow us all to prepare for the ceremony but Vicky also gave us the much needed structure and guidance that we hadn’t realised we needed so much. We left each video call feeling more relaxed and ready for our wedding.

Vicky took the time to learn about us, to go over things that we wanted and didn’t want to be mentioned in the ceremony, and also went the extra mile to offer additional ceremonial rituals such as handfasting and ring warming, ideas we hadn’t even considered. We decided to include handfasting before the exchanging of rings and our guests absolutely loved it.

 We’re very happy that we found Vicky and can’t imagine the wedding with a different celebrant.”

Thank you so much for everything you did for us leading up to the wedding. The ceremony was perfect in every way and we had so many comments afterwards from our guests saying how personal it was and how it came across as if you had known us for years. Saturday really was the wedding of our dreams and there was nothing that could have gone better. You were such an important part of our day it wouldn’t have been the same without you.
