About Warren Turner
First of all, let me congratulate you on your forthcoming marriage!
Getting married is one of the biggest decisions of your life, and you wedding should be one of the best days of your life! This will be the day that you will happily commemorate and celebrate for many future anniversaries to come. I will work to create with you a truly unique and personal ceremony, just as you want it, wherever and whenever you wish. Whether you plan to hold a small ceremony or a massive one, on a cliff-top, in a barn, on a ship, in a field, in your garden, in fact anywhere, my aim is to create a memorable, happy and fun celebration of your marriage.
I have many years experience of public speaking as a university professor and know how to create a ceremony script to truly capture your unique story and to share your promises to each other. I also co-own the Horse and Groom Inn in Upper Oddington (near Stow on the Wold) which we use as a venue for small bespoke ceremonies, inside and outside, all year round.
The great thing about a humanist ceremony is that there are few, if any, rules. You can therefore be as creative or as traditional as you like. Choose whatever venue you want. Include songs, readings, poems, music, or symbolic acts such as hand fasting, sand blending, ring warming, candle lighting or drinking from a quaich. You can choose to make your own vows or promises, or not, choose to exchange wedding rings, or not. You can take whatever approach to your wedding ceremony you want. In fact, as your celebrant, my role will be to help you design and then deliver the perfect ceremony for you.
I am proud to take an inclusive approach to my wedding ceremonies, aiming to make them accessible to all.
I am happy to conduct your ceremony anywhere within a 40 mile radius of Stow on the Wold (Cotswolds) or further afield subject to additional travel and accommodation costs.
