Humanist ceremonies allow you choice, there is no rule book. You, the couple, are at the heart of every decision. Your wedding ceremony really will be all about you. 

My job is to write and deliver a  unique ceremony that captures you as a couple. Once the big day arrives we will know each other, and this certainly helps to calm the nerves.

Nothing is ruled out when planning the ceremony. You may want traditional elements with the guests singing one of your favourite tunes.

Or you may prefer to go for something that no-one else has ever experienced before. You might wish to have your ceremony in the back garden with your dogs as ring bearers. Or maybe the top of a cliff is a special place for you both to make your vows. There isn’t a time limit for your wedding ceremony, so you might like to include a symbolic act or a joyous reading or anything else that will help to encapsulate your story so far.

You don’t have to identify as a Humanist to have a Humanist wedding.

It really is all about you, so here’s just a little about me.

I’m passionate about people having a choice in what their wedding ceremony should look like and that’s why I love this job. It’s a privilege to be involved in the planning and delivery of a ceremony on such a special day for any couple. Inclusivity is so important to me and this is a key part of my writing. I’m flexible, ready for change and love hearing stories from couples.

I’m a family history sleuth, amateur baker, wife, mum and huge music fan.
