My name is Bill Swift; I’m a trained and accredited humanist wedding celebrant with a professional background in mental health care. I’m based in beautiful Devon not too far from Exeter, Totnes and Plymouth and am happy to travel as far as you need me to for your ceremony.

I am someone who enjoys connecting with people, sharing their emotional highs and lows and helping them to love and understand themselves. I feel that the relationships that we develop with one another are not only key to defining who we are as individuals, but are also amongst the most magical and enjoyable aspects of being human.

This is the reason I love being a celebrant; weddings allow you to rejoice in the most exciting parts of your lives; sharing your hopes and promises for the future while bringing everyone together to experience that with you.

I enjoy putting the personal touches into weddings, helping you to not only share an honest and beautiful account of your love, but to celebrate it with feeling.
